She was born a small town in NSW Australia, from English parents from Yorkshire.

Living in England, during the 1980s, she discovered a love of history, visiting the many and varied places of historical interest.
The path to publication was long and winding, but it was finally published in 2006. As of this moment, many novels and several short stories have been released. At the beginning, his contemporary novel, Hooked on You, written under the pseudonym of Anne Whitfield, was a 2011 finalist for the international EPIC award.
Since then, she has become an Amazon best seller and her novel, The Slum Angel, won a gold medal at the Reader's Favorite International Awards.
Currently, she writes only historical novels, set mainly in Yorkshire and/or Australia during the Victorian period to World War II. His books are available in e-book and brochure at online bookstores, such as Amazon, and large print formats and audiobooks are available at bookstores.
