Sara Bennett is an Australian best-selling author of historical romance. She has written many books set in various eras—Medieval, Regency, and Victorian—as well as paranormal romance under the name Sara Mackenzie.

She began her career writing under the pseudonym Deborah Miles for Mills & Boon. Avon/Harper Collins has published her books and are available worldwide. She has also written several Australian women's fiction books as Kaye Dobbie. She currently alternates between independent and traditional publishing.
She has been shortlisted for the RITA (Romance Writers of America) and RUBY (Romance Writers of Australia) awards.

Sara lives in Victoria, Australia, in an old house in a gold rush town with her husband and two amazing cats. She would love to spend more time in her garden, but there are too many stories to be written.
